On the back of three straight wins, Billy Heathโs side welcome Stockport County to the MBi Shay Stadium with the Hatters currently enjoying an incredible unbeaten run that has put them back amongst the play-off chasers.
Stockport sit just a point behind the Shaymen meaning the winner of Saturdayโs clash could climb into the play off places should Darlington suffer a heavy defeat to Curzon Ashton.
When the two sides met in August, Town left Edgeley Park happy with a point following a late onslaught from the home side that made them look the more likely to take all three. Tom Dentonโs first half header gave the Shaymen the lead at the break before Scott Duxburyโs equaliser brought Stockport level.
Townโs inform man, Matty Kosyloโs 70th minute strike last weekend completed the turnaround for Halifax after coming from two goals down to win 4-2 against Salford City. Kosylo has enjoyed a magnificent run of form ever since first being deployed in a more central role as a number ten against Chorley and can be expected to feature in the same position against the Hatters.
Adam Morgan completed the scoring against Salford moments later, and he has also been amongst the goals since joining from Curzon Ashton last month along with Richard Peniket who after a frustrating start to the season out-wide is also relishing his new position down the middle.
For the other side, Stockport this week completed the signing of Fleetwood Town striker Elliot Osborne on a one-month-loan from the League One side. Osborne bagged 22 goals for Nantwich Town during their promotion season from the Evo-Stick Premier last season from attacking-midfield and will be likely to feature on Saturday.
Along with Osborne, the Hatters have also brought in Winsford midfielder Harry Brazel on dual-registration meaning he could play a part.
Joining the new signings in midfield for Stockport is Lewis Montrose, a player for Town fans to keep an eye on. The former Chesterfield and Wycombe Wanderers star joined the Lancashire club in 2015 and has been performing consistently ever since.

One to Watch
Former Nigeria international Kayode Odejayi will certainly be one to keep an eye on at the Shay on Saturday. The 34-year-old has in the past played for Rotherham and Barnsley and once netted 13 goals in a season for Cheltenham. The 6ft3inch target man will certainly do his best to make himself a handful for everyone in Blue at the MBi Shay Stadium
