As part of it’s annual fundraising activities, Halifax Town Supporters Club are pleased to announce that we are currently planning a Sponsored Walk on Sat 17/03/18 from the MBi Shay Stadium to Guiseley for the Vanarama National League fixture with our local rivals.
The proposed route has been carefully thought through by Committee Member Philip Knott and, based on a trial walk that has already taken place, it is estimated that the 18.5 mile trip will take approximately 6.5 hours, ie leaving the Shay at 07:00 a.m to allow as well for a break(s) en route. At this stage, the Supporters Club Committee need to hear from anyone who would like to participate in this event. In this respect, please in the first instance e-mail your name and contact number(s) to either supportersclub@fchalifaxtown.com or direct to Philip on p.knott775@btinternet.com.
All monies raised will be passed over in their entirety to FC Halifax Town and please note that if our team are in the FA Trophy Semi-Final that day (and let’s hope they are!) then the Sponsored Walk will take place on the following day.
