FC Halifax Town travel to high flying Solihull Moors on Tuesday as they get a chance to bounce back straight away from the 1-0 defeat to Eastleigh at the weekend.

Solihull Moors, managed by Tim Flowers, have won seven in their last ten games as they look to push for a spot at the top of the table.

Today we’ll be looking at The Moors key men, as they’re one of the top scoring sides in the National League this season. Having scored 26 goals in their 17 league goals three men have been in fine form for Solihull in 2018.

The first of three men is Daniel Wright. The experienced target man has played non-league football for 11 years. He’s totalled up several over 100 career goals in around 300 games.

Wright has spent time at clubs such as Wrexham, Cambridge and Cheltenham scoring goals wherever he has been. Wright uses his height to his advantage scoring many headers throughout his career while also has an unexpected turn of pace to use to his advantage.

This season, the tall striker has managed 6 goals in the league adding an extra 1 in the cup. He went on a run of scoring 4 goals in three games in September but has only scored one since. He scored in the second minute to get Solihull on their way to beating Maidstone on Saturday in a 3-1 win.

The next man to look at is Adi Yussuf. The striker netted twice on his debut for Solihull in January and has scored goals for the Midlands side ever since.

Another tall striker, like Wright he’s also played for many clubs. He’s played for Barrow, Grimsby and Mansfield. His most successful spell was at Oxford City where he scored 27 goals in 36 games as he was named in the Conference North team of the year.

The striker also has 6 goals this season in the league. He’s scored in his last two. One against Maidstone and one against Witton Albion in the FA Cup.

Finally, Jermaine Hylton. Like the other two attackers, he’s a great header of the ball. Hylton is also rapid and is great with the ball at his feet.

He’s got 5 goals in the league. The most recent, scoring alongside Wright and Yussuf in the 3-1 win at Maidstone. He also scored in the league game before scoring an important goal in a 2-1 win over Ebbsfleet.

In 2009 Hylton was in the final of Sky1’s TV talent show, Wayne Rooney’s street striker.
