FC Halifax Town are back at The Shay this weekend in Vanarama National League action against Solihull Moors.

Town will be coming into the game after a superb bank holiday weekend. Which saw Pete Wild’s men secure a maximum six points against AFC Fylde and Barrow, results that mean The Shaymen are now above The Moors in third.
Liam McAlinden scored in each game putting his tally on three, to get himself on top of the goal-scoring charts at The Shay

Solihull will be coming into this fixture after a poor bank holiday. Moors lost both of their games, first on Saturday a 2-0 away loss to the surprise package of the league Woking. Then on Monday night a home 2-1 loss to Eastleigh.
Those results have moved Moors down to fourth, three points behind The Shaymen.
New signing and top scorer Paul McCallum wasn’t in action against former team Eastleigh on Monday, and will probably return to action this weekend.

Last season both teams were familiar with each other, as we played four times against our opponents in league and FA Trophy. Both teams couldn’t get a spell of dominance over the other, as both teams got a win each and two draws.
At The Shay, Town ran out 2-0 winners thanks to goals from Manny Duku and Devante Rodney.

Match Officials:

Referee – Martin Woods
