Billy Chadwick returned to the Club earlier this month and helped the Shaymen to a win in his first home game since returning. He spoke to Shaymen TV after the match.

The loanee from Hull City started the interview with his thoughts on coming back; “I found out I could go back out on loan and as soon as I heard Halifax were interested, it was a no-brainer, because I loved my time here before. Hopefully, we can push on, we have moved into the play-offs now which is great. So, let’s kick on.”

Chadwick later spoke about the win and said, “It’s a positive result, however it was a scrappy game today – although if you can come away with three points then you’ll take it. Even though we didn’t play as well as we wanted to, the three points are what matters.”

It’s a quick turnaround again for the Shaymen as they are back in action on Tuesday night against Aldershot Town – a game with real significance as both sides are hotly in contention to be in the play-offs come the end of the season.

Chadwick previewed the game and the rest of the season, “We are back in on Monday and we will be ready to go for the game on Tuesday with Aldershot. Going into it I am hopeful we will pick up another three points. We’re going to take things game by game and see where it takes us.

“We’ve got to take each game as it comes and try to get three points in each one – since I’ve been here in both loans, there hasn’t been a team we’ve played that I’ve thought have been much better than us. We can beat anyone on our day, and as today shows – we did it the hard way.”
