After FC Halifax Townโ€™s first home defeat of the season at the hands of Yeovil 2-0 we caught up with Shaymen keeper Sam Johnson for his thoughts on the game and looking forward to Notts County away next week.

Q: So Sam disappointing result today what were your thoughts on the match?

A: Well disappointing is definitely what Iโ€™d call it, they just wanted it more today, we knew they were a good team but we made a lot of mistakes today as a team and we will look to improve on those for the next game.

Q: And on that we travel to Notts County next week another ex-league side just come down, how do you prepare for a game like that after today?

A: Look obviously we go about training as normal, nothing changes in that but we will address the result today, look back see what went wrong and try go Iron out those issues.

Q: Only the second defeat of the season are the squad still confident of a result going into next week?

A: We all know that table position at this point in the season means nothing but of course we are confident, we will go into the game looking to get something as we do every game.

Q: 10 games in now, 2nd in the table as it stands, is this where Halifax are looking to be throughout the season?

A: Look itโ€™s still early but we have shown what we can do but we have shown we can improve, we look to go into every game thinking we can win and come the end of the season who knows!
