Rishworth School and FC Halifax Town are delighted to announce a new partnership, bringing two of the town’s most iconic institutions together.
For the last 300 years, Rishworth School has occupied magnificent buildings in 140 acres in the Ryburn Valley. An independent boarding and day school, accepting children from 3 to 18 years. Small class sizes and excellent teaching result in brilliant academic achievements, with over 76% of A-level grades achieved at A* to B.
There is a real emphasis on the learning taking place outside of the classroom too, with over 40 enrichment and extension activities, there’s something to simulate, entertain and inspire including: Duke of Edinburgh, a Medical Society, a jazz band, radio controlled F1 Grand Prix, astronomy, dry slope skiing, artistic pursuits, team sports and more.
The School is a registered charity and offers a range of scholarships and bursaries.
