On Thursday at 3Gi, FC Halifax Town will be hosting the Northern Regional round of the National League Trust U11 Cup.

Boys/mixed teams and girls-only teams will represent their schools and one of the participating clubs: FCHT, Altrincham, Chesterfield, Farsley, Gainsborough and Guiseley.

The winning team (1 girls and 1 boys/mixed) will advance to the Northern Final, just one step from Wembley.

For FCHT the girls-only representatives are from Walsden St. Peter’s school. They have won the Adam Heslop Cup for the last two years to qualify for the NLT Cup. Last year they made it through the NLT U11 Cup regional competition but couldn’t progress to the Wembley final as their journey ended at the Northern Final.

Greetland Academy will be the boys/mixed team to represent FCHT. They were new entrants to the Adam Heslop Cup this year and made it through the entire competition unbeaten.

Good luck to all the teams attending but especially the two teams representing FCHT.
