FC Halifax Town will host Marine in the FA Cup 4th Qualifying Round on Saturday, 3pm kick-off.

The Shaymen are two leagues above their visitors and the winners will go into Monday’s first round draw when the EFL League One & League Two Clubs enter the competition.

Marine are managed by ex Town caretaker boss and Head of Scouting Neil Young who knows the Club well and they have ex Town midfielder Louis White and Liam Nolan in their ranks.

Town will be looking for just a second home win at the Shay this season having won on the opening day of the season, Chris Millington’s side have since drawn four and lost two of the next six at the Shay.

Since Town’s last match at the Shay, there has been two away wins at Woking (2-1) and Ebbsfleet United (2-0) which has seen them climb back up to 8th in the table.

Marine beat Hyde United away from home in the last round of the FA Cup with goals either side of halftime from Manasse Mampala and Fin Sinclair-Smith. In the second round they drew 2-2 away at Spennymoor Town and won 2-1 in the replay thanks to two goals from Sol Solomon. In the 1st qualifying round they also required a replay after a 0-0 draw at Guideley, they won 3-0 at home with Mampala, White and Solomon on target.

Last weekend they secured a 4-2 victory away at Marske United in the FA Trophy.

They are 5th in the Northern Premier League and have won 4 at home, lost 1 whilst away from home they have won 2, drawn 1 and lost 1.
