  1. Former goalkeeper Bert Trautman famously played in the 1956 FA Cup final with a broken neck.
  2. Manchester City won their first League title in 1937.
  3. The citizens hold the record for the highest attendance by an English club with 84,569 for a match against Stoke City in 1934.
  4. Their away kit of red and black stripes was brought in by Malcolm Allision who believed wearing the same colours of AC Milan could inspire them to success.
  5. Man.City hold the Premier League record for the least amount of home goals scored in a season, scoring just 10 times during the 2006/07 season.
  6. Manchester City jointly hold the record for most division two (now the championship) titles with six.
  7. They are one of the most successful teams in the FA Cup winning the trophy on five occasions, the latest in 2011.
  8. The club was originally formed back in 1880.
  9. In the 1957/58 season City scored 104 goals but also conceded 100.
  10. Club record signing Sergio Aguero is the first City player to score 100 Premier League goals for the club.
