League leaders Leyton Orient maintained their unbeaten run with a 1-5 thrashing of Braintree Town . A Macauley Bonne hat-trick alongside goals from Marvin Ekpiteta and Josh Koroma helped the O’s on their way to a convincing away win, a win that kept them two points clear at the top of the National League table. Lyle Della-Verde scored Braintree’s solitary goal in the defeat.
Salford City made it five wins in their last five games as they beat Hartlepool United 3-0 at Moor Lane. All three of Salford’s goals came in the second half. Daniel Lloyd-McGoldrick opened the scoring for Graham Alexander’s men before Adam Rooney doubled Salford’s lead with his eighth league goal of the season. Their victory was rounded off by a Thomas Walker goal late on, this victory sees Salford jump up into second place in the table.
Harrogate Town and Wrexham played out a 0-0 draw at Wetherby Road. The share of the points sees Harrogate now in third place in the table while Wrexham are now in fourth.
Solihull Moors overcame Dagenham & Redbridge 2-0 at Damson Park. Goals from Daniel Wright and George Carline helped Tim Flowers’ side up into fifth place in the table. While it was two defeats in a row for The Daggers who remain in 22nd.
Boreham Wood were beaten 1-0 away to Eastleigh . A Mark Yeates goal in the 80th minute was the difference between the two sides at Ten Acres. Aldershot Town were also narrowly beaten, they went down 0-1 to Maidstone United courtesy of Blair Turgott’s goal midway through the first half.
Barnet played out an exciting 2-2 draw with Havant & Waterlooville at The Hive. Barnet went in front through a penalty from Shaquile Coulthirst in the 22nd minute but were pegged back by Havant when substitute Andreas Robinson equalised in the 71st minute. However, Coulthirst doubled his tally minutes later to put Barnet back in front. Yet there was still time for some more drama, with the game ticking into injury time, Robinson popped up again in the 91st minute to earn Havant a point.
Dover Athletic climbed off the bottom of the table as they managed to draw 2-2 away to Sutton United. Sutton went two ahead early on with goals from Craig Eastmond and Nicholas Bailey but their lead was halved in the 36th minute after Mitch Brundle converted a penalty for Dover. Aryan Tajbakhsh was shown a straight red card for a bad challenge. Despite this, Dover rallied and equalised in the 87th minute through Timothy Scholl to earn themselves a point.
Chesterfield remain winless in ten games after they lost 1-3 at home to Maidenhead United . A Herson Alves brace and a goal from Ryan Upward helped Maidenhead towards three points at The Proact Stadium. Marc Antoine-Fortune scored a penalty for the home side.
Barrow lost 1-2 at home to Gateshead. Barrow did take the lead through Tyler Smith’s goal however Gateshead fought back through goals from Scott Boden and Greg Olley to earn themselves a decent away win.
Bromley managed a big away win at Ebbsfleet United as they won 1-2. Bromley took a two goal lead thanks to Junior Ogedi-Uzokwe and Frankie Sutherland’s penalty. Ebbsfleet did claw a goal back through Jack Powell, however the visitors held on for the win.
