Good evening, and welcome to you all. Welcome indeed to the third set of these notes in ten days! Of necessity, my notes will be rather shorter than normal tonight. At least it’s another two and a half weeks to our next home fixture!

This evening is our final chance to advertise the forthcoming Supporters Club quiz night. To remind everyone once again, the quiz will be held this coming Thursday, October 26th. Dave Crossley will again be quizmaster, and the venue as last time is the Flying Dutchman in Boothtown Road. Under 18s are welcome to attend with one or more adults, and the fun begins at 8pm prompt. Thanks again go to John Chew for allowing us to use his pub for this eagerly anticipated event.

The quiz has been running for a number of years now, previously fronted by the popular Jack Haymer. I think you will find that Dave is a more than adequate replacement, but please come along and find out for yourselves. Teams from our local (and rival) clubs have been invited, and the signs are that Bradford Park Avenue and others will be represented, giving us more of a competitive atmosphere.

As always, thank you in advance for your support.

See you soon,          Kit.
