FC Halifax Town are off to a dream start this season after making it three wins from three. The official website caught up with manager Jamie Fullarton after the match to get his thoughts on the performance.

“First and foremost, especially at home, it’s important the performance and the result match each other. Why? Because in front of your own fans who come out to support you, they have a big impact and that’s now two home games where the support has been excellent. I think the players have responded to that and it’s not only resulted in getting the three points but a good performance”.

Jamie stated there that the fans are a huge part of the success, so we asked him what he thought was the biggest contributing factor to the current run of form.

“The key elements of what we are trying to do at this football club are attitude and application. When the players have that, combined with a little bit of structure and a game plan, then we’ve always got a chance of winning games. But again, we’re only 3 games in, we’ve got another 43 to go”.

It’s now three games, three wins, seven goals and zero conceded for the Shaymen. Jamie was keen to stress the professionalism of his squad as we talked about whether anybody was getting a little carried away.

“The players are not naïve enough. I think you can tell by my tone and my manner, that doesn’t happen. Today is done and now we focus on Tuesday”.
