FC Halifax Town will entertain Hartlepool at the Shay in the Vanarama National League on Saturday afternoon, 3pm kick-off.Β 

The Shaymen go into the game in 5th place looking to return to winning ways following a 0-0 draw with Woking in midweek and two defeats against Oldham away and Dagenham at home.

Town have won 8, drawn 5 and lost 6 on home soil this season and will continue to push for a play off place, they are currently 7 points above Altrincham in 8th place.

Hartlepool are 14th in the table and they beat relegation threatened Boston United 4-1 at home in midweek.

The win was their first after 8 league games without victory, their last away games have seen a 1-1 draw Eastleigh, 2-1 defeat at AFC Fylde and 3-2 defeat at Aldershot

So far this season, they have picked up 5 wins, 6 draws and 8 defeats away from home

Former Town player Emmanuel Dieseruvwe has scored 13 goals in league games, they also have former Town midfielder Jack Hunter in their squad.

The two sides drew 0-0 in the return fixture back in September
