As most supporters will be aware, this fund raising initiative is jointly administered by Shaymen Down South and Halifax Town Supporters Club with all monies raised ring-fenced to contribute solely towards FC Halifax Town’s First Team Coach Travel expenses. The opportunity for any fan to kindly join the Goal O Meter scheme will again be available for 2018/19 with your name and specific sponsorship recorded in each match day programme.
Although the basic premise is for a fan to sponsor a minimum of £0.25 per goal (Vanarama National League, FA Trophy and FA Cup) – and we look forward to getting increasing numbers of supporters doing this – the good news is that it is actually possible under this scheme to sponsor anything (!). You could, for example, consider so much for each penalty saved, hattrick, points achieved over 50, away win, clean sheet, etc, etc. This is a novel and innovative way to raise money – please feel free to use creative skills and help Shaymen Down South and the Supporters Club increase the financial support given to FC Halifax Town towards First Team Coach Travel expenditure.

To help sponsors spread the cost, we will be requesting settlement on the goals scored etc in the first half of the season at the end of December. All cheque payments to be made payable to Halifax Town Supporters Club.
