FC Halifax Town manager Jamie Fullarton believes that new signing Niall Maher will be a “great addition” to the squad after the defender’s move to the club from AFC Telford.
Maher, joins the team as Jamie Fullarton’s second signing since his appointment two weeks ago and is available for selection this weekend against Woking FC.
“Niall is a great addition to the squad. He has versatility and understands the environment that he is coming into having worked under me before.” Jamie Fullarton told the official website.
“He has also shown through the physical aspect that he can play men’s football having played done so at Championship level, even at a young age. He added.
The former Notts County manager believes that Maher’s arrival will bring competition for places, and that he adds variety to the squad.
He will give us a good option and competition for places. Especially currently where we have injuries, with players still coming back to fitness.” Fullarton commented.
“It gives us more scope and adds more to the squad, and variety to the squad and the fans can look forward to seeing him play.” he said.
“We are always proactive in always wanting to add to the squad, because we want competition for places and to counterbalance any suspensions or injuries that we have, so that it does not derail the momentum that we are trying to gather. Fullarton said.
Hopefully that will bring some good results and performances.” The manager added.
