  1. Until 1974, Frickley Athletic were known as Frickley Colliery F.C.
  2. Frickley were officially formed in 1910 as part of the wider Frickley Athletic Club of the Cartlon Main owned Frickley Colliery.
  3. Frickley have won the Sheffield and Hallamshire Senior Cup on twelve occasions and have finished runners-up on 9 occasions.
  4. In 2011, Frickley created an international link with Czech football club FK JindΕ™ichΕ―v Hradec 1910.
  5. Their highest league finish was runners-up in the Alliance Premier League (now National League) during the 1985-86 season.
  6. Frickley’s best FA Cup run was during the 1985-86 season where they got eliminated by Rotherham United in the Third Round. Their best FA Trophy run was during the 1984-85 season where they reached the Quarter Finals.
  7. In 2015 Frickley and Barnsley announced a partnership between the two clubs to work together at academy level.
  8. Frickley have played their home games since 1910 at Westfield Lane which has a stadium capacity of 2,087.
  9. Manager Karl Rose previously managed at Goole Town and also played as a striker for them before he became the manager in 2009.
  10. The largest attendance that has been recorded at Westfield Lane is 5,800 which was against Rotherham during the 1985-86 season.
