Earlier in the week Forest Green Rovers terminated striker, Andy Mangan’s contract as a consequence of an internal investigation.
The Skrill Premier side suspended the 27-year-old forward last year and the decision to cancel his deal at the club has come as a result of a lengthy disciplinary process.
The Football Conference has stated that there is an ongoing appeal process but the club have expressed their desire to make no further comment on the matter.
Elsewhere, the weekend game between Welling and fourth placed Gateshead has been postponed already due to a waterlogged pitch.
