Matty Kosylo is a doubt as FC Halifax Town look to build on their emphatic turnaround against Gainsborough Trinity when they face mid-table side FC United of Manchester at the newly built Broadhurst Park.

An own goal from Gainsborough’s Chris Salt brought Tuesday’s game level before super sub Adam Morgan snatched the games winner with just ten minutes to go.

The win now means Billy Heath’s side find themselves inside the top five as they head across the border to Greater Manchester to lock horns with the Red Rebels.

FC United have won three of their last four games, losing only last time out against Alfreton town to put a dent in what has been a pleasant run of midseason form.

Midfielder George Thomson will be one to watch for the home side. The 24-year-old has found the net 11 times this season from out wide in what is his third season at the club since joining from Chester City.

Striker Jason Gilchrist has found himself on the score sheet more than a few times this season. The former Burnley starlet made the permanent move to Broadhurst Park in the summer and has hit the ground running with ten goals in the National League North.

As for Halifax, Matty Kosylo will be a doubt after limping off with a hamstring injury in the week and will we be assessed as the week goes on meaning we could see the return of Richard Peniket into the starting line-up with Josh MacDonald still fighting back from his injury woes.

Referee: Marsden, Paul
