FC Halifax will be looking to keep the winning feeling at The MBI Shay Stadium as we welcome Eastleigh this Saturday in the Vanarama National League.
The Shaymen had a convincing 2-0 victory against Warringotn Town during the week in The FA Cup fourth qualifying round replay to progress to the first round proper.
Town’s win over Warrington was the first for Jamie Fullarton’s side since a 1-0 victory over Gateshead on the 27th August (1-0), after six draws and four losses in that time Town have slipped to 14th in the league with 21 points. A win this Saturday against Eastleigh could potentially lift The Shaymen above their opposition to 10th position in the league.
Eastleigh come into this game in 10th position on 23 points. They suffered an upset in their FA Cup outing at the weekend losing to National League South side Hampton & Richmond (0-1). In the league Eastleigh have won four out of their last five games losing to Aldershot (1-2) in their last league game before the break for The FA Cup.
