  • Dover are a club The Shaymen have exclusively played in their two spells in non-league football.
  • The top tier of non-league has had three different names for match-ups between the two. The GM Vauxhall Conference (1993-1998), Vanarama Conference (2014/15), and The Vanarama National League (2015-)
  • We have never met in a cup competition.
  • There has only been one scoreless draw between the two in the 18 games – 30th December 2017: Dover Athletic 0-0 Halifax Town.
  • Each season we have met Dover since 2014 we have had a different manager in charge each time. Neil Aspin (2014/15), Jim Harvey (2015/16), Billy Heath (2017/18), Jamie Fullarton (2018/19), and now Pete Wild (2019-)
  • Played for both since 2008 – Tobi Sho-Silva and Jamie Allen. Indeed it was Sho-Silva who scored the last gasp winner for the Kent club on the 15th August 2017 at The Shay. Seconds earlier Tom Denton thought he had rescued a point for Town.
