Barnet are in action tonight at home to Aldershot in their first game since the departure of head coach Edgar Davids. A win for the Bees could take them into the play-off positions if other results go their way. As for the away side they are currently lying just above the drop in 20th place, suffering from their 10 point deduction at the start of the season due to going into administration.
With table toppers Luton not in it gives the chasing pack a chance to claw back some distance. Fourth placed Gateshead and sixth placed Kidderminster both play at home tonight and will be looking to bag three points. Gateshead entertain mid-table Welling United whilst Kidderminster host relegation strugglers Dartford at the Aggborough Stadium.
Cambridge United are second in the table and only four points behind Luton with two games in hand. Their clash tonight with Tamworth is one of those games in hand so it is crucial they take all three points. However, Tamworth who are struggling at the foot of the table have started to show some good form in front of their home support so things will not be plain sailing for Cambridge.
Elsewhere there are mid-table clashes between Macclesfield and Lincoln, and Southport and Wrexham, whilst the loser of Woking vs Chester could slip into the relegation places.
