FC Halifax Town are back in action on Tuesday night against League leaders Chesterfield in the Vanarama National League, 7.45pm kick-off.
The Shaymen go into the game on the back of a three match winning run after victories away at Dorking followed up with home wins over Maidenhead United and Woking.
Town sit a point outside the play-offs and in 9th place going into the midweek game and will be looking for a 7th home victory on home soil.
Chris Millington’s side have picked up 14 points from the last 30 on offer and have scored in each of the last five games.
Chesterfield are 20 points clear of 2nd placed Bromley and the two met at Hayes Lane at the weekend with Bromley winning a seven goal thriller 4-3.
That defeat was their first loss in the last 9 games in a run which has seen them score in each of those games. Their last defeat prior to that was a 2-0 loss away at Solihull on Boxing Day.
Will Grigg leads their top goalscoring list with 20 goals in 32 games whilst Tom Naylor/Armando Dobra have 9, Joe Quigley / Oliver Banks have 8 each, Ryan Colclough has 7 and Liam Mandeville has 7. All together 13 different players have scored in league games for them this season.
A late injury time winner from Joe Quigley saw Chesterfield win 3-2 at the SMH Stadium back in September in a game which saw both Tom Naylor and Adam Senior sent off.
