FC Halifax Town return to action in the Vanarama National League campaign with the second away trip this week as we take on Chester FC at the Swansway Chester Stadium.

Town earned their first point of the season with a 0-0 draw away at Barrow in midweek after losing the opening day game at home to Aldershot 2-0.

Our hosts have only played 1 game so far this season at home on Tuesday night to last season’s Vanarama National League North Champions AFC Fylde.

Former Town loanee Jack Muldoon opening the scoring for AFC Fylde before Lucas Dawson equalised for Chester

Their opening game was away at Soliull Moors but this was postponed due to safety concerns over the ground.
