FC Halifax Town Matty Brown has said that the squad must stick together after they suffered a devastating 1-0 home defeat to Barrow AFC this afternoon.
Jordan Whiteโs second-half header gave Barrow all three points at the MBi Shay Stadium and stretched winless in the Vanarama National League to 11 matches.
Brown has insisted that the team will continue to be close knit together despite their recent disappointing spell.
โWe will all stick together,โ Brown told ShaymenTV post-match, โand weโve got to stick together more than ever now to come through this period.
โItโs just hard to take but we just need to ride the storm and come out of it.โ
The Halifax captain has the result was even more disappointing considering that Town dominated much of the game against the Cumbrian side.
โThey didnโt really threaten our goal,โ Brown continued. โBut, it has gone in and itโs just hard to take really.
โWeโve done relatively well, weโve created chances in the first-half. But, itโs just that bit of luck at the moment, things just arenโt going our way at the minute.
โYou canโt fault any of the lads, weโre working hard. Itโs just not happening for us at the moment and that sometimes happens in football.
โBut, we just need to stay together the push through it.โ
