FC Halifax drew their penultimate home game in the Vanarama National League game 2-2 to Bromley. Cameron King spoke to Shaymen TV giving his thoughts on the game.

“I thought we played really well in some parts. Conditions are tough to try and get the ball down and play in large spells of the game. Disappointed in how we conceded the goals, we were the better team it is just frustrating to concede the goals in the manner we did.”

King goes onto explain how Town dominated the game and area’s which need improving.

“We had enough possession of the ball in their final third, could’ve been a bit better in the final third a bit more precise. Devante went through one-on-one, but the ball took a massive bobble which is unfortunate. We deserved the three points so to only to come away with one is disappointing.”

Just three games to go now, everyone’s still looking to impress.

“Yes, we’re definitely not going to take our foot off the pedal. There are three games left and we want to get as many points as we can. The manager won’t let us go easy, training has been the same and we’ll give it our all until the end of the season.”

The Easter bank holiday weekend is now approaching, beginning with Hartlepool away on Good Friday.

“You look at the last three away games they’re all going to be tough. We knew the run in at the start of the season, we are now sorted and safe now and that allows to go there and enjoy it and play with a lot of freedom.”
