Midfield dynamo Matty Pearson has expressed his enjoyment of how FC Halifax Town are playing after winning five consecutive Skrill Premier matches.
“It’s a great time to hit a bit of form, we just need to focus on the games and nothing else. Winning the last five on the bounce has gave everyone that buzz.”
The victories have come since Pearson has been employed from a more advanced central midfield position, Matty has reiterated his pleasure of playing alongside Lois Maynard and Paul Marshall and told us why he thinks it is working so well.
“Lois and Marshy have been class the last few games and I am really enjoying playing alongside them.
“I think we all compliment each other well, I’ve enjoyed the last few games a bit higher up the pitch and with them two behind me it gives me that insurance of not holding my position and allows me to chase players down without worrying about leaving space in behind me.”
Matty has complimented the Shaymen support.
“The fans have been great especially against Luton, just hope our winning continues!”
