FC Halifax Town host Northamptonshire side Brackley Town at the MBi Shay Stadium knowing that a win could see them climb to second in the Vanarama National League North.

The Shaymen have looked unstoppable as of late and could make it eight wins on the bounce in all competitions should they overturn the travelling Saints.
Last time out Halifax secured a comfortable 3-1 victory over FC United of Manchester, with the single goal conceded being the only possible negative to take away from an admirable performance.

After a tricky period, Tom Denton has found himself well and truly amongst the goals having found the net four times in the last two games along with Alex Simmons who has also looked in fine form since his loan move from Lincoln City.

Brackley, on the other hand, sit eighth in the standings, six points behind Billy Heath’s boys, and have only picked up nine points from a possible eighteen. Last time out the Saints enjoyed a convincing 2-0 victory over Curzon Ashton.

The visitors will come to the MBi Shay Stadium as the lowest scorers in the top half but have conceded just 15 goals in 14 games despite having a former striker as their manager. Former Nuneaton Town and Wrexham manager Kevin Wilkin took over the side last year.
