FC Halifax Town defeated Dagenham & Redbridge 2-1 in matchday five of the Vanarama National League and attention now to runs to an away game at Boreham Wood on Saturday.
Assistant manager Phil Hughes spoke to the official website ahead of the game
“It’s a great start for us and obviously there’s a long way to go. There’s been a lot of hard work behind the scenes and clearly we’re very well organised and we go about our business in the proper fashion”.
“We’re looking forward to the challenge. We have two very quick games but there’s nothing better than playing matches. We’re going to travel down to Boreham Wood on Friday, the manager will have us well drilled and set up for the game. Then the games come thick and fast but I’m sure we’ll be ready for it”.
Kickoff is at 3pm at Meadow Park and we hope to see you there.
