This weekend we travel down to Aldershot in our next fixture in our National league campaign. Here I have a look at striker Shamir Mullings.

Shamir is 25 yearโ€™s old and has just signed for Aldershot this season. Shamir hasnโ€™t got off the mark for Aldershot yet, but has been a starter since he joined the club. He started his youth career at Southend United, but never got his chance for the first team as he had loan spells at Thurrock, Witham Town, Tilbury and Harlow Town.

In 2013, Shamir left Southend to join National league side Bromley. Shamir only played 7 times, as he had more loan spells at Cray Wanderers and Thamesmead Town. The following season, he was on the move again where he joined National League South side Havant & Waterlooville. He found his feet at Havant and enjoyed plenty of play time, but he only scored four goals in his two years there, playing in 59 games.

After two years, he left Havant and joined Chelmsford City. He hit the ground running at Chelmsford, he scored 12 goals in 18 games, and only being at Chelmsford a couple of months, Forest Green Rovers came calling and snapped him up. Forest Green gave him some game time, but he was never a guaranteed starter, as he had more loan spells at Hampton & Richmond Borough and Macclesfield Town.

Last season, he joined Maidstone on a one-year deal and was a first-team regular, but his stay was short, as he moved to Dagenham & Redbridge on loan. This summer, Shamir moved to Aldershot Town, after spending time with many clubs, across the leagues, itโ€™s time for Shamir to find his feet at Aldershot Town.
