FC Halifax Town are back on the road for the second time in a week in The Vanarama National League. The Shaymen travel down to Hampshire to face Aldershot at The Recreation Ground.

Town were in action on Tuesday night against Wrexham, which saw Pete Wild’s side lose for the first time in the league under his command. The North Wales side scored 12 minutes from time, the loss means The Shaymen were knocked off top spot to Solihull Moors.
Town now have conceded just the two goals in their four opening games, joint best in the league with Woking and Maidenhead United.

The Shots have had a tricky start to the season, facing two of last year’s play-off side, new boys Woking and will be coming into Saturdays fixture off a 1-0 defeat to unbeaten Bromley.
Opening the season at home they lost 2-1 to AFC Fylde, The Shots got their points tally going against Woking with a 1-0 away win. They have been unable to add to their points tally since the 6th August. Table toppers Solihull Moors beat them 2-1 and most recently The Shots couldn’t secure a point at home to Bromley.
Aldershot are struggling in-front of goal having only scored three times this season compared to Towns seven goals in four games.

If you’re unable to travel down to Hampshire, for Saturday’s game you can listen to live commentary from The Recreation Ground, on Shaymen Audio from 2:45pm for a 3pm kick off.
