FC Halifax Town will host Vanarama National League leaders Wrexham AFC at the Shay on Good Friday, 3pm kick-off.

The Shaymen go into the game in 17th place and will be looking for a 10th league victory of the season.

Town booked their place at Wembley Stadium with a late equaliser and penalty shoot-out win at Altrincham at the weekend which came three days after a 2-0 victory over Aldershot Town at the Shay in our last league game thanks to goals from Harvey Gilmour and Milli Alli

Chris Millington’s side have picked up two wins and a draw in the last three home games in the league.

Their visitors Wrexham are top of the league three points above Notts County with a game in hand. An impressive 19 league wins and a draw in their 20 games at the Racecourse have seen them amass 100 league points in an impressive season to date. Away from North Wales, they have picked up 12 wins, 6 draws and 2 defeats so far.

They have an impressive 69 goal difference, two bettwe than County in second place and it will no doubt go to the wire for which side wins promotion. The two sides meet in North Wales on Monday.

One of their main threats will be top goalscorer Paul Mullin who has 34 goals in 40 appearances, whilst fellow striker Ollie Palmer has 16 in 39 games. Defender Aaron Hayden is also in double figures with 11 league goals to his name.

The two sides met back in October, where Mani Dieseruvwe put the Shaymen ahead but three second half goals from Ben Tozer, Jordan Davies and Aaron Hayden helped Wrexham to victory.

The game is ALL-TICKET. Please make sure you purchase / pick up tickets between 11am and 7pm on Thursday at the ground and bring your ID with you. There is no tickets available for purchase or collection on Friday itself. Season ticket holders just need to come with your season ticket book.

Gates open at 1.45pm, please give yourself plenty of time to enter the ground.
