FC Halifax Town will travel to Torquay United on Saturday in the Vanarama National League, 3pm kick-off.ย
The Shaymen will be looking to get back to winning ways down at Plainmoor after a defeat at Altrincham on Boxing Day and a point at home on New Year’s Day.
Recent results have seen Town go to 14th in the table and it’s been the home form which has improved in recent weeks. On the road, Chris Millington’s side have won just twice at Scunthorpe and Solihull this season.
Gary Johnson’s side are on a run of three league games without a win. Last time out they lost 2-0 away at Yeovil Town on New Year’s Day and drew 1-1 at home on Boxing Day against the Glovers.
Their last win in the league was on the 3rd December away at Dagenham, whilst their last home wide was a 6-1 victory over Aldershot on the 1st November.
They sit 23rd in the table two points below Oldham and Maidstone who are in the other relegation places above them.
Aaron Jarvis and Will Goodwin have scored 6 goals each in 17 / 24 appearances respectively
