FC Halifax Town will be heading to Eastleigh this weekend looking to put last weekend’s defeat at Aldershot Town behind them, 3pm kick-off.
The Shaymen were defeated 5-1 at the Recreation Ground in front of the BT Sport cameras and the result saw Town move back into the bottom four after two wins and a draw in their previous three games.
Town have so far won one and drawn one on the road this season with victory over Scunthorpe and a point at Maidenhead but have been defeated three times at Barnet, Wealdstone and last weekend at Aldershot Town.
Eastleigh currently sit 12th in the table and are unbeaten on home soil with two wins and two draws so far this season but have scored just 5 goals and conceded 3 so far whilst their away form has seen one win and five defeats so far
The Spitfires have drawn one and lost three of their last four games, the only point was a 1-1 scoreline against Yeovil and last time out they lost 3-2 to Oldham Athletic at Boundary Park.
Danny Whitehall is their top goalscorer with 4 goals in 6 appearances so far this season
Last season the Shaymen won both games against Eastleigh with a 4-0 victory at the Shay and a 2-1 win away thanks to first half goals from Kian Spence and Matt Warburton.
