FC Halifax Town will host Gateshead at the Shay tomorrow in the Vanarama National League, 7.45pm kick-off.

The Shaymen will be looking for their first home win of the season following one draw and two defeats on home soil so far.

Town have picked up four points from the last two games with a 2-0 victory at Scunthorpe and a 1-1 draw with Maidenhead last time out,.

The results in the opening 7 games sees the Shaymen in 22nd place in the table and tomorrow’s opponents Gateshead have one more point in 19th place

Gateshead have drawn one (Dagenham A) and lost two on the road so far (Wrexham and Dorking), their last game prior to the break for the Queen’s death was a 4-1 home victory over Maidstone United

Their top goalscorers are Paul Blackett & Adam Campbell who both have four goals in their first 7 games so far.
