FC Halifax Town held Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin to a 1-1 draw in our second pre-season outing.
Jesse Debrah put the Shaymen in front from a free kick before Maximilian Mittelstädt equalised 10 minutes from time.
Despite being on the back foot for the majority of the opening period, Town struck first. Harvey Gilmour swung in a free kick from the right hand side and Debrah rose highest to head home.
Town again had plenty of defending to do but looked a constant threat on set pieces. Another Gilmour free kick was just about headed behind for a corner as Mani Dieseruvwe threatened. Gilmour sent the corner into the centre of the box but the Bundesliga side defended well.
With less than 10 minutes left on the half, Hertha found the equaliser. Mittelstädt received the ball inside the box before placing it into the bottom corner.
