FC Halifax Town will entertain Chesterfield in the Vanarama National League play-off eliminator at the Shay on Tuesday night, 7.45pm kick-off.

The Shaymen finished the league season in 4th place and will host 7th placed Chesterfield for the right to face an away trip to Solihull Moors on Sunday in the semi-finals, 12.30pm kick-off.

Town had the best home record in the league this season with 17 wins on home soil and two draws which included a 2-0 win over Chesterfield in April in front of the BT Sport cameras scoring 37 goals and conceding just 11 in front of the Shay faithful.

They finished 7th in the table just a point above Dagenham & Redbridge. They have won 9, drawn 7, lost 6 away from home this season.

Kabongo Tshimanga is their top goalscorer but he has been out injured since the 12th February and had scored 24 league goals prior to injury. Saidou Khan and Akwasi Asante both have 6 goals this season to their name.

The game is all ticket for away fans and tickets need to be purchased from Chesterfield.

Home fans can pay on the turnstiles.
