FC Halifax Town will travel to Essex this weekend to face Southend United, 3pm kick-off.

The Shaymen go into the game in 3rd place and are unbeaten in the last five games.

Town beat Chesterfield 2-0 on Monday in front of the BT Sport cameras and have three wins and two draws in the last five games.ย

Last time on the road, Town drew 1-1 at Altrincham on Good Friday and will be looking for a first win on the road since a 2-0 win over Weymouth on the 5th March.

Southend beat Barnet 3-1 on Monday and it stopped a run of five straight defeats and they sit 13th in the table.

They had failed to score in four of those five defeats and conceded 13 in the five games.

Their top scorer is Sam Dalby with 9 goals in 39 appearances

Jordan Slew, Billy Waters and Niall Maher were the scorers as Town were 3-1 winners at the Shay under their former boss Phil Brown who played for Town during his playing career.
