There was one game in the Vanarama National League tonight and it was a point a piece for two sides in the bottom four.
Southend went ahead at Roots Hall through Rhys Murphy’s 7th league goal of the season but they were denied victory with a second half goal from Maidenhead United’s Kane Ferdinand for his fifth league goal of the campaign.
The point sees both sides move up a place to 19th and 20th place respectively.
