FC Halifax Town could go 2nd in the table tomorrow night as they entertain King’s Lynn Town at the Shay, 7.45pm kick-off.

The Shaymen sit 5th in the table and a win would see them go ahead of Boreham Wood, Bromley and Wrexham going level on points with league leaders Chesterfield who have a better goal difference of 8 going into this game.

Town had a 1-0 away victory at Wealdstone at the weekend thanks to Matty Warburton’s first half penalty making it back to back league victories after a win at Torquay two weeks beforehand.

Wrexham won 2-1 with a late goal from Paul Mullin in our last home game and Town will be looking for a win to go above Wrexham who have played two games more at this stage.

King’s Lynn  have appointed a new manager in the last week with Tommy Widdrington the man in charge at the Walks. He oversaw a 2-1 home victory over bottom side Dover at the weekend.

Our visitors sit 22nd in the table with 11 points from 18 games. They haven’t win in their last four away games their last victor on the road came at York Road, Maidenhead on the 2nd October winning 3-2.

The two sides drew 1-1 at the Walks last season and the Shaymen won 4-2 at home thanks to Goals from Billy Chadwick, Jake Hyde, Luke Summerfield and Jack Earing.

Former Town youngster Ross Barrows will be in the Linnets squad, he came on as a late sub in their win over Dover at the weekend
