Striker Gerry McDonagh spoke to Shaymen TV following the 0-0 draw away at Barnet.

McDonagh was speaking to Shaymen TV for the first time since signing for the Club in August and is positive about his experience with the Club so far.

“I’ve really enjoyed it. Not as much as I’ve wanted to, because I’ve not played as much as I’ve wanted to, but so far, so good. It’s a good football club and a good group of lads.”

McDonagh came on has a second-half substitute, making his second appearance for the Club, and was glad to have more game time under his belt.

“Any minutes is a positive. I was out of the game for a while, so it’s good to get going back into the routine again, so hopefully I do well.”

On Town’s performance against Barnet, McDonagh said; “We had the opportunities to win, but away from home, if we don’t win, we don’t lose.”

McDonagh was looking forward to the atmosphere at The Shay ahead of Tuesday’s game against Notts County, and complimented the support given by the travelling Town fans.

“We have good support, I’ve noticed that a few games when I’ve travelled with the lads, the away support is good.”
