FC Halifax Town are back in action tomorrow afternoon with Weymouth the latest to head to the Shay in the Vanarama National League, 3pm kick-off.
Town go into the game on the back of Tuesday night’s thrilling 3-2 win over Notts County. Despite going 2-0 down and Tom Bradbury sent off, goals from Jordan Slew, Billy Waters and a 90 + 10 minute strike from Matty Warburton saw jubilant scenes on both the field and terraces. The result saw the Shaymen go up to 3rd in the table.
The win means Pete Wild’s side unbeaten run is now 6 games with 4 wins and two draws. The last defeat came at Huish Park back on the 4th September.
Only Grimsby Town and Bromley have a better home record this season, Town have scored 12 goals and conceded just 5 so far on home soil.
Weymouth sit 20th in the table, picking up just one point from the last 15 on offer. They were defeated 3-0 in midweek away at Bromley
They have conceded in every game this season and only Dover Athletic has conceded more goals.
Their last win came in a 4-3 away victory at Solihull Moors on the 4th September which was back to back with a home win over Maidenhead, their only two victories of the season to date.
Josh McQuoid and Bradley Ash have both got three goals a piece so far.
