FC Halifax Town will look to build on four points in the last two games with a home game against Stockport County at the Shay on Saturday, 3pm kick-off.
The Shaymen sit 6th in the table after 6 games which has included three wins, a draw and two defeats so far this season.
Last weekend Town beat Southend United 3-1 at the Shay thanks to goals from Jordan Slew, Billy Waters and captain Niall Maher.
This was followed up with a point at Boreham Wood in midweek, Tom Bradbury had put the Shaymen ahead, Wood turned the game around with first half goals from Josh Rees and Scott Boden before top goalscorer Billy Waters earnt the Shaymen a point with his late goal.
Stockport sit in midtable with just two wins out of their opening six games. Both have scome on the road with victories at Southend and last weekend at Maidenhead United.
They have kept four clean sheets in their opening matches.
Liam Hogan and Scott Quigley are both former Shaymen who will return to the Shay this weekend with Stockport whilst Matty Warburton and Harvey Gilmour will be in the home ranks against their former employers.
The last time the two sides met Stockport won 1-0- at the Shay back in May 2021 thanks to Paddy Madden’s goal.
