FC Halifax Town are in action this weekend against Southened United at the Shay, 3pm kick-off.
The game will see the Club and fans celebrate 100 years of football at the Shay Stadium with a sell out event in the banqueting suite beforehand.
The Shaymen go into the match in 9th place with two wins out of four from the opening four games including a 2-0 win in our last home match on Bank Holiday Monday.
Town boss Pete Wild has boosted his squad with the arrival of striker Jack Vale on loan from Blackburn Rovers.
Southend won 1-0 on the opening day of the season away at King’s Lynn Town, defeated 1-0 by Stockport County at Roots Hall and have since had two draws with Wealdstone and Wrexham.
Our visitors were relegated from the EFL League Two last season.
