FC Halifax Town have just four league games left of the 2020/21 season and tomorrow will see the penultimate home game with the visit of Boreham Wood, 3pm kick-off.
The sit fifth in the table six points above 8th placed Chesterfield. Every team below Town down to Altrincham in 17th place have at least one game in hand and in Notts County they have four in hand. Only County can overtake the Shaymen with their games in hand.
A impressive 3-0 win over Yeovil Town at Huish Park on Bank Holiday Monday gave Town a third away win in a row. It is now 19 points from the last 30 on offer.
Boreham Wood were our hosts in the play-offs last season and they sit 13th in the table now. They beat King’s Lynn Town 5-1 last Monday but that was their first win after a run of four games without a victory.
They haven’t won in their last six away games and failed to score in 4 of their last 5 games.
Kabongo Tshimanga is the player to watch with 17 goals in 36 appearances, 6 of them coming from the penalty spot.
