Following FC Halifax Town’s 4-2 win over King’s Lynn Town, forward Billy Chadwick spoke to Shaymen TV to give his thoughts on the game.

“Just delighted with the three points,” Chadwick said. “That was always the main focus of both the team and my game. We started slow, but after their second goal we just dominated the game. They came back into it in the final ten minutes, but I thought we saw the game out well. I thought we played well today, and we could have had more.”

Town came from 2-0 down to be level at half time thanks to goals from Chadwick and Jake Hyde.

“Every game I’m looking to bag goals,” Chadwick told Shaymen TV. “Today I got one and it was a great cross, that was what we have been working on in training. Byrne pulled it back to the edge of the six-yard box and I was there just in time to put it away.”

The Shaymen bounced back from a difficult result on Tuesday with this emphatic win over King’s Lynn in front of the BT Sport cameras.

“It was disappointing on Tuesday,” Chadwick said. “The character we have shown today is unbelievable. Not just to come from behind today, but to make the comeback before halftime before dominating the game is great.”

Town travel to Chesterfield on Tuesday and will be hoping for a similar result with Chadwick hoping for another goal for himself.

“It is going to be a massive game,” Chadwick told Shaymen TV. “If we go into it like we did after the first 15 minutes today then there should not be any problems in getting three points there.”
