FC Halifax Town return to league action tomorrow night against Eastleigh after Saturday’s penalty shoot out win over Hartlepool United in the FA Trophy
The Shaymen won 4-2 on penalties after a 3-3 draw after 90 minutes against the North East side and have been rewarded with a home tie against Southport in the next round.
Town had lost at Solihull in our last league game which halted a run of three wins in a row previously.
Eastleigh were knocked out of the FA Trophy by Wealdstone. They went 3-0 up away from home in the first half but four goals in the second half including the winner in injury time saw Wealdstone book their place in the 4th round.
They lost 1-0 to Maidenhead in their last league home game to end a run of three wins in a row, Yeovil Town (3-1), Wealdstone (2-0) and Bromley (2-1)
Their top score in the league is Ben House, four of his six goals have come away from home and his last goal was in their win over Yeovil Town back on the 1st December.
