FC Halifax Town continued their unbeaten start to 2020 in beating Bromley 2-1 at The Shay.

Niall Maher opened the scoring for the Shaymen from close range before Devante Rodney fired in from the edge of the box. Joe Kizzi headed home just before half time to get Bromley, who played for an hour with ten men after skipper Jack Holland was given a straight red, a goal back. The Shaymen were able to see out a cagey second half and rise to third in the table.

League leaders Barrow came from behind to overcome Torquay at Holker Street. Defender Kyle Cameron gave The Gulls a surprise lead midway through the second half, but a ten minute spell saw John Rooney and Scott Quigley notch their sixteenth and eighteenth goals of the season respectively, to extend Barrowโ€™s advantage at the head of the table to seven points.

Bottom club Chorley went ahead against promotion chasing Yeovil through Bolton loanee Connor Hall, who had an event day in Somerset; scoring his first goal for the Magpies before being sent off in second half. An 88th minute equaliser from Marc Richards gained a point for the home side, but they dropped a place to fourth.

Solihull Moors, who parted ways with manager Tim Flowers in the week, were defeated 0-2 by Maidenhead, with second half goals from James Akintunde and Oddyseus Alfa gaining the points for Alan Devonshireโ€™s men.

Harrogate Town remained second with a 1-1 draw at home to Aldershot; Mo Bettamer put the Shots ahead minutes before half time before Lloyd Kerry got his name on the scoresheet to square the game up.

Fellow playoff contenders Boreham Wood were victorious against Fylde, with goals from Kabongo Tshimanga and Jamal Fyfield cancelling out Jordan Williamsโ€™ leveller to ensure the game finished 2-1.

Stockport went down to ten men in the first half of their game against Dover at Edgeley Park when experience midfield Paul Turnbull was giving his marching orders. The Whites were able to make their numerical advantage pay, as a second half brace from Inih Effiong gave the visitors a 2-0 victory.

Hartlepool also finished their game at Barnet with ten men, as Gavan Holohan was sent off early in the second half for Pools. Three goals followed, with new signing Paul McCallum opening the scoring for Barnet, before Hartlepool equalised through a Dan Sweeney own goal. However, Simeon Akinola put the Bees back ahead with ten minutes left to play and the game finished 2-1.

Strikes within the first twenty minutes from Tyrone Barnett and Jack Payne gave Eastleigh a 2-0 win over Woking, whilst Sutton and Ebbsfleet shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw.

Wrexham v Dagenham was goalless, whilst the late kick off is Chesterfield v Notts County.
