James Watson spoke to Tobi Sho Silva about his thoughts and his feelings towards his first goal at the Shay in a 2-0 win over Hartlepool.
“I thought it was amazing to be fair the boys dug, and I always say you always got earn I right to play, then you can get your break maybe after 70/ 80 minutes and then our quality came through.”
“Yeah it was good to be fair obviously fans where here a couple years ago and I scored here before and that was the first time I played here so I’m just happy to score and solidify and get a goal in front of the home fans”
Tobi mentioned what it felt like to be top table and looked forward for Saturday’s match.
“It feels good, but you can’t get carried away wit it its just the first two games, so we just want to keep the run going and look forwards to Dagenham on Saturday.”
Sho Silva talked about the morale in the dressing room after the game and the positive impact the two wins have had.
“It was good, and we will enjoy it today and then start recovery tomorrow and preparation for Saturday on Thursday and Friday. “
