FC Halifax Town entered their penultimate game of the season looking to claim that final play-off position. It started perfectly for The Shaymen, Lee Gregory scored in the opening five minutes for Town and it looked like the floodgates could be opened. Souhport would hold firm and score twice in the second half, denting Town’s play-off positioning.
